That is my hope for this blog.
There will be tension as West meets East, but this is the true picture.
I run towards the opportunity in excited anticipation. How will I change? What will I discover? Who will be my friend?
There will be joy and there will be pain -- in China and in your area of the world. So, as James once said,
"Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing.
Is anyone suffering? Let him call."
For we are all living on this great, swirling canvas experiencing the paradoxes of life.
Don't do it alone or emotionless.
Drink it in and consume.
No regrets. Live in the beauty of tension.
